Stepping Up for Kids 2024
At this annual luncheon we honor front line individuals (resource families, case managers, supervisors etc.) who have gone the extra mile to support the children in their care, as well as the families of those children.
Vision for Children at Risk and the STLCANN team invite you to join us for the 9th annual event on Friday, October 18th to celebrate people that are making an outstanding difference for children in foster, adoptive, and kinship care.
Register to attend and/or sponsor this 9th annual event with the link below!
STLCANN Quarterly Training
STLCANN hosts quarterly training workshops focused on improving your professional skills in working with children and families. Most trainings also offer an opportunity to earn Continuing Education credits.
Our next training is titled, “Moral Distress”– this is a staff wellness focused training. Friday, December 20, 2024 at the Deaconess Center for Child Well-Being. Registration is coming soon, contact Yolanda West to learn more, ywest@visionforchildren.org.
System of Care Council
The Joint System of Care (SOC) and Project LAUNCH Council provides a platform for parents and providers in the St. Louis community to come together to better coordinate and collaborate region-wide on issues concerning families and mental health across multiple systems.
The Council guides the work of two federally funded (SAMHSA) initiatives, Project LAUNCH and The System of Care – Children’s Mental Health Initiative (SOC-CMHI). This work would not be possible without strong collaboration. Together, we are able to more fully serve the St. Louis region. Contact Jawana Hammonds at jhammonds@visionforchildren.org to join.
