Jennifer Humphrey, BSW, MA
- STLCANN Board Chair and member of the Education Sub-Committee
- 24 years of experience in child welfare, foster care case management, social services, program development and leadership.
- Passionate about collaborating with team members to develop practices, procedures, and solutions that ensure children and families have safe social, emotional, and physical environments.
- One of her favorite things about STL is that it has unique cultural and hidden gems in areas that you’ll least expect.

Yolanda Johnson, STLCANN Coordinator
MBCH Children and Family Ministries
- STLCANN Co-Chair and Events Committee Member
- Over 30 years of experience in the child welfare field in the areas of family engagement, family empowerment, resource development, program management and case management.
- Believes everyone, no matter religion, race, gender, economic status, or sex, should be afforded the same opportunities to reach their dreams. Your zip code should not be the determining factor in your outcome in life. With collaboration and connections, every family should have their basic needs met and be able to live productive lives within their own communities. No family should be without.
- Favorite things to do in STL are going to a Cardinals game, doing activities at Forest Park (Muny, History Museum, the Zoo, Live Concerts, etc.) and eating the Food!

Tijen Gassiraro, LCSW
Barnes Jewish Hospital OB/GYN Clinic
- STLCANN Board Secretary and member of Events Committee Member Since Fall 2023.
- 36 years of experience in public child welfare, foster care case management, home visiting services, executive leadership and healthcare social work
- Passionate about building strong and safe communities for children and their caregivers. “It takes a village”
- Favorite STL thing is spending time at Forest Park with family and friends- any time of the year!

Jason Myers
MBCH Children & Family Ministries
- STLCANN Board member and serves on the advocacy committee
- Has worked in child welfare for 25+ years in various capacities including direct care, residential treatment, in-home services, contract oversight, and program development.
- Currently serves as the Vice President for MBCH Children & Family Ministries.
- Favorite thing about STL is the Cardinals & all the free stuff throughout the community!

Craig Schmid
Government Services Analyst for the Department of Health of the City of St. Louis
- STLCANN board member and serves on the policy committee
- Has been involved with the regional Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) leadership; violence prevention (Youth Violence Prevention Partnership and St. Louis Area Violence Prevention Commission); Criminal Justice Coordinating Council Health Committee (past); Domestic Violence Fatality Review Panel; heroin and substance use disorders (including a Community Resource Response Team and St. Louis Substance Misuse Task Force (past); currently with CRUSH STL Community Resources to Start Healing – aka Community Resources to Stop Heroin); Health Equity; internal and external partnerships; Academic Health Department; legislation and policy; contracts, Requests for Proposals, etc.
- A public servant as a neighborhood champion/advocate/volunteer and City employee for most of his adult life.

Beth Stonefield, MSW, MA, LCSW
- STLCANN Board Member and Events Committee Member
- 30 years of experience in child welfare and social services, case management, program design, and family engagement.
- Passionate about creating and leading innovative programs that support children and families. My work is driven by a deep commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and families, ensuring they have access to the support they need to thrive.
- One of her favorite things about STL is going to The Fabulous Fox Theater!

Bonnie Washeck, LCSW
- STLCANN Board Member-Education Committee
- Has served in public child welfare in prevention, foster care, Intensive In-Home Services and Youth Services since 1980.
- Provides training and consultation through her BRW Consulting company.
- Serves on the STLCANN Board to continue to assist families and children in St Louis to grow safely and confidently.
- Appreciates that St Louis has many free attractions for families to attend for fun and learning.
