Child Health in the Core Missouri Counties of the St. Louis Region

What is the current health level of children in various parts of the St. Louis metropolitan area? What resources exist to meet child health needs? Does the location of the resources correspond with where the risks are greatest? Are the resources being accessed? Vision for Children at Risk set out to answer these questions in a 2004 report funded by the Missouri Foundation for Health. This assessment is intended to serve as a foundation for developing community-wide strategic action that will target the needs identified and help to improve the health of our region?s children, especially those most at risk.
