A Public Dialogue on Public Education

Serving the Customers: What Students Need and Parents Want from Public Education; Plus Perspectives of City Residents

The St. Louis Metropolitan Children's Agenda and Vision for Children at Risk will schedule a “A Public Dialogue on Public Education" forum highlighting the viewpoints of parents, students and city residents at an evening or weekend time soon. Check back for announcement of date.

This will be the same program as our Nov. 16 forum and is being repeated outside of business hours to provide ample opportunity for parents, students and city residents to contribute. Panelists will outline their perspectives on public education in the City of St. Louis, identifying what they see as critical issues and outlining their interests and needs related to the St. Louis Public Schools.

“A Public Dialogue on Public Education” will continue with a series of informational forums approximately every two weeks through the 2006-2007 school year. These forums are intended to promote constructive citizen dialogue and develop effective strategies to advance quality public education in the City of St. Louis.
