Join the St. Louis Metropolitan Children's Agenda and Vision for Children at Risk for our next forum in the series “A Public Dialogue on Public Education."

This sixth forum in the "A Public Dialogue on Public Education" series will focus on the views of the Office of the Mayor and some key community organizations on the importance of public education in the City of St. Louis. Panelists will outline their perspectives on the St. Louis Public Schools, identifying what they see as key issues and critical needs. The program for the forum will include the following panelists:

• Office of the Mayor - Jeff Rainford, Chief of Staff and Robbyn Wahby, Educational Liaison

• Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri - Becky James, President & CEO

• FOCUS St. Louis - Christine Chadwick, Executive Director



(The Engineers' Club is in the Central West End on the north side of Lindell Boulevard between Boyle and Newstead Avenues. It is in the block immediately east of the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis (New Cathedral). There is ample parking behind and to the east of the building. Turn into the parking lot off of Lindell Blvd. at the east end of the Engineers' Club building.)

“A Public Dialogue on Public Education” will continue with a series of informational forums approximately every two weeks through the 2006-2007 school year. These forums are intended to promote constructive citizen dialogue and develop effective strategies to advance quality public education in the City of St. Louis.
